Royalty is an aspect of the Indian culture. For many years, his highness and her majesty have been residing in the plush comforting palaces across India in Udaipur, Jodhpr, Jaipur, Chittorgarh and so on. After independence, some of these palaces were transformed into government properties, but the royalty is still maintained by successors of the then kings.
